I am originally from Michigan and started my journey by pursuing degrees in Accounting and Business Management.  After a few years of being in the corporate environment, I had lost my enthusiasm for that path and started seeking a career that I could feel good about and that would allow me to help people.  My mother had already been a massage therapist for 15 years when I began to apprentice with her.  During training, I knew I had found my true calling.

At the time that I was training, massage schools were few and far between.  For the massage therapy profession to gain validation, various massage organizations offered testing and certification.  I was certified by the International Myomassethics Federation in Basic Myomassology (500 hours) in 1993, Therapeutic Myomassology (1000 hours) and Foot Reflexology (250 hours) in 1996.  Later on in my career, these certifications were no longer accepted and I attended the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy and earned with honors an 1150 hour diploma.

I also became intrigued with the concept of the spirit/mind/body connection and how one's mental and spiritual beliefs had a very measurable effect on the body's health.  This curiosity eventually lead to receiving my Reiki Master/Teacher and Practitioner certifications in Usui, Karuna and Violet Flame Reiki.  Following the philosophy of "change your mind, change your world" , I also earned with honors a 300 hour Hypnotherapy diploma.

I've been doing bodywork for almost 20 years now. I absolutely love what I do and I feel honored to work with my clients.
