This massage is very gentle. Movements are slow and superficial.  This would be most suitable for individuals facing life threatening illnesses, as the focus is on providing nurturing care and comfort.

This massage is the next step past Swedish.  The techniques used have enough pressure to manipulate the first two layers of muscle fibers and fascia to create change there.  This is the massage most start with.

Neuromuscular, Trigger Point, &  Myofascial Release  Therapies

These deep tissue techniques are intended to change the way the body holds itself in space.  Muscle fibers and fascia are progressively worked deeper to release trigger points and fascia bindings.  These releases enable the body to heal damaged tissues and fibers, providing increased range of motion.  This massage can be uncomfortable and is recommended for individuals receiving weekly bodywork.

At this time, health and worker's compensation insurances are not accepted due to the inconsistency in payments. I will provide you with a receipt for you to pursue reimbursement.

Lymphatic Massage

This technique is designed to specifically address lymphatic flow, which if  not free flowing, can create an environment conducive for infection. Beneficial for lymph edema and in cases where lymph nodes have been removed.

Hot Stone Massage

This stress relieving treatment utilizes heated basalt stones to melt tension from muscles. The stones are placed on key points of the body and are used in conjunction with varying massage techniques. This massage is deeply relaxing as it has a sedative effect on the body.

Essential Oil Drop Therapy

This technique uses a sequence of highly anti-microbial essential oils that are applied along the spine and gently massaged along the vertebrae and muscles. Moist heat is used to assist the body in absorbing these oils with benefits that  provide an overall cleansing and healing effect within the internal body.  The technique is deeply relaxing and the oils will continue to work in your system for up to a week. For maximum benefits, do not shower for 24 hours after receiving this service. This service also includes reflexology based hand and foot massages along with Reiki balancing.

Reflexology

Reflexology is based on the principle that all the nerves in your body end or pass through your feet.  This technique is performed on specific points of the foot to affect the internal body, removing blockages and stimulating circulation.  This is a wonderful compliment to any massage.
