This massage is the next step past Swedish.  The techniques used have enough pressure to manipulate the first two layers of muscle fibers and fascia to create change there.  This is the massage most start with.

Neuromuscular, Trigger Point, &  Myofascial Release  Therapies

These deep tissue techniques are intended to change the way the body holds itself in space.  Muscle fibers and fascia are progressively worked deeper to release trigger points and fascia bindings.  These releases enable the body to heal damaged tissues and fibers, providing increased range of motion.  This massage can be uncomfortable and is recommended for individuals receiving weekly bodywork.

Lymphatic Massage

This technique is designed to specifically address lymphatic flow, which if  not free flowing, can create an environment conducive for infection. Beneficial for lymph edema and in cases where lymph nodes have been removed.

Child Massage

Children respond to massage like ducks to water.  Numerous research studies have been conducted by the  Touch Research Institute regarding the amazing and numerous benefits.  This is a full body body massage with glute work done over the sheet.  Parent/or legal guardian is required to stay in the room during the massage.

Infant Massage

This one on one session is designed to teach parents how to massage their newest family addition. Learn techniques that help to calm your baby,  aid digestion, and provide more benefits than can be listed here. This session is complimentary if you have received 5 prenatal massages.

Essential Oil Drop Therapy

This technique uses a sequence of highly anti-microbial essential oils that are applied along the spine and gently massaged along the vertebrae and muscles. Moist heat is used to assist the body in absorbing these oils with benefits that  provide an overall cleansing and healing effect within the internal body.  The technique is deeply relaxing and the oils will continue to work in your system for up to a week. For maximum benefits, do not shower for 24 hours after receiving this service. This service also includes reflexology based hand and foot massages along with Reiki balancing.
